9 Gifts Still 2 Buy

8 Rum Cakes 2 Make

7 Rooms 2 Clean

6 Dozen Cookies

5 Christmas Parties

4 Hostess Gift Baskets

3 Sister Gifts

2 Teenagers 2 Buy 4

1 Christmas Reception @ Church

I was so flattered that they asked me to do all of the Christmas Decorations for a eceiption at Church. It's probably because no one else wanted to do it. That's okay ~ I've got it "under control" except that I just remembered I also said I would bring 6 dozen cookies. The decorations will either look like something from Fred Sanford's front yard or Martha Stewart's Dining Room........ I'll get Baby Bunny to take lots of pictures with her new camera. I think all three of my Sisters and my Mother are all coming to help me...... Right Sisters??

Speaking of my three Sisters ~ can't share it here yet, but I'm making them all something priceless, precious and perfect for Christmas. It is only going to take about 20 minutes for each gift ~ but I'm running out of time.

I'm also making several adorable Hostess Gift Baskets for several of the parties that we've been invited to. They are all Reindeer themed baskets and I've found so many adorable items to include. Rudolph collector ornament, Reindeer food for Christmas Eve, Reindeer Hand Towel, Moose Munch, Reindeer Cookies, Rudolph Hot Cocoa...........

MUST ~ GET ~ Christmas Cards ~ Mailed ~ Today!!!

Gift Ideas ~ Part 3 ~ Handbags!!!

I would absolutely LOVE to receive this Rosette Clutch (pictured above) as a gift. However, they are completely sold out online. This specific Clutch retails for approx. $35.00 ~ hence the unavailability of same. You just might get lucky and find one at your local Saks Fifth Avenue Store. It's designed and made by Stephanie Johnson and is the Katie Clutch. Don't you love it?

Here's another great idea for a Gift Card Holder or you could use it for a cute Treat Box. To purchase this Purse Template ~ just hop over here.

Another Pretty Purse and it's available in several different colors ~ blue, red, black, etc. It's on sale for just $67.50. Just hop right over here to Zappos ~ which offers free shipping w/free shipping for returns too.

LOVE this Stunning Sondra Roberts Evening Bag available at Nordstrom. Just hop right over here.

AND I simply MUST have this Post-It Note Holder that is shaped like a handbag!! Just hop right over here or visit your local office supply store.

I've been unable to locate the 365 Days of Handbags Calendar for 2011 (Wall Calendar). Unfortunately ~ I think they have discontinued it. I've found the 365 Days of Shoes ~ but I'd rather have the Handbag Calendar. Please email me if you know where I can purchase one ..........

Gift Ideas ~ Part 2

Here are a few additional Ideas for Gifts. This is the cutest little Bunny "Ring Holder" (pictured above) and it's available over on Anthropologie's website for only $10.00. (I didn't know they sold anything for under $50.00 over there at Anthropologie). It would also make the perfect Mother's Day or Easter Gift. Just hop right over here to order one for yourself or SomeBunny special !!

I needed one of these "Purse Holders" the other day when I was dining at a local Restaurant. I really got tired of holding my Purse in my lap for the entire meal. This Purse Holder hangs from the Table and keeps your purse close by and off of the filthy floor. It's available at your local Pier One Imports for only $9.00. You can hop right over here for more details.

This Painting really makes me LOL ~ isn't it hilarious!?!! It's entitled "Give me your Carrots" and features a determined Bunny "holding up" Snowmen for their Carrots using a Hair Dryer. It's made by Sylvia at Follow the Moon Art.

Wouldn't a beautiful piece of humorous or whimsical art make the perfect gift?

AND ~ this is such a Gorgeous Painting/Collage featuring a row of houses. I have one very similar to this hanging in my Bedroom and enjoy it every single day. A "Work of Art" is a Fabulous Gift for Christmas or any time of the Year. Treat yourself to something lovely!! Just hop right over here to purchase this Stunning Painting.
I'm crazy busy as always and just celebrated my Birthday this past weekend. I received so many pretty presents and crafty cards. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks to EveryBunny who sent Birthday wishes ~ I'm truly blessed beyond measure.

Christmas Gift Ideas ~

Here are just a few Christmas Gift ideas ~ I'll have more tomorrow. These mini wallets (featured above) were designed by Pam of Sew Gracious and they make the perfect Gift Card "holders". They're the perfect size and I love the idea of giving a gift IN a gift.

This Year ~ I might use these pretty Tissue Holders for the Gift Cards. Pam (Sew Gracious) has tons of lovely gifts in her Etsy Shop. You can hop right over here to see all of her designs. I know you'll find something for Every Bunny on your list ~ as well as a few things for yourself.

The Wristlet (featured above) was designed and made by prettyinpink320. Isn't it adorable? It would also be a great "Gift Card Holder" or "Cash Stash".

I LOVE this Wristlet too ~ it's so Chic!! You can hop right over here to check out the prettyinpink320 Etsy Shop.

Another New Blog Banner ~

It's going to be a few months before I can use my newest Blog Banner (featured above) ~ so thought I'd share it with you today. Tiffany really did a Fabulous job with this one ~ didn't she? I was really "drawn" to it for some reason. I think that the quote speaks "volumes" ~ especially since it's by Albert Eistein. The quote reads:

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"

Tiffany has a few Banners in her Etsy Shop ~ as well as some really adorable Christmas (digital) images. You can hop right over here ~ if you're interested.

Rudolph's Reindeer Flight School ~

This is the most adorable Set and it's one of my absolute favorite items ~ even without a single Bunny on it. I just listed it over on Ebay ~ so you can hop right over here to check it out. The Auction ends on 11/30/10 ~ so you need to hop like a Bunny or fly super fast like a magical Reindeer .

There are so many cute details on this collectible which was designed by Heather Goldminc and sold by Blue Sky Clayworks. It features three Reindeer learning to fly ~ one Reindeer trainee on the roof, one on the ladder and one that has fallen ~ Splat ~ onto the Mattress..........

Here is a closeup (above) of the Reindeer Trainee that has landed on the Mattress. This Set is just so whimsical ~ you just can't help but smile when you see it. There are 6 ceramic pieces to this highly collectible set. It was introduced in 2005 and has since been retired ~ so this "priceless piece" is difficult to find.

Happy Birthday Baby Bunny!!

Happy 14th Birthday Baby Bunny!!! We L♥VE You and are so proud of the lovely young lady (inside and out) that you've become. You've always looked great in Pearls!! That's what I should have gotten you for your 14th Birthday ~ a nice "string of pearls". Guess I'll wait until your "Sweet 16" ~ that would probably be more appropriate. Although ~ I'm afraid you're going to want a car for your "Sweet 16".

It just seems like yesterday that she was turning 1 and we had ALL of the Family over for a HUGE Birthday party. To say that the last 14 years have gone by quickly is an understatement. I feel like I blinked ~ turned around twice and now she's 14.

Well ~ we're crazy busy planning her 14th Birthday Party. We thought about having it at the new Mitchell Ellington Park ~ which was named after my Father. She never got to meet him ~ he passed away before Baby Bunny was born. However, she's heard a lot about him and we thought it would be fun to have it at "his" Park ~ especially since it's such a Fabulous Park. My Father would have been so proud ~ but humble that they named a Park after him. He was truly a remarkable man and the epitome of a Southern Gentleman.

Instead of "The" Park ~ we've decided to have a Beach/Pool Party. It'll be at our Condo's Clubhouse ~ which is right next to the Pool AND the Beach. The Guest List keeps growing and we MUST send out the Invitations tomorrow. I'm trying to keep it simple ~ the less stress the better. Cake ~ Ice Cream ~ Sun ~ Fun

If you're looking for Lillly Pulitzer Cabanarama Invitations ~ please contact me. These lovely (fill in) die cut invitations (pictured above) are 8 to a pack ~ I have two sets for a total of 16 invitations. The envelopes are just as pretty as the invitations ~ extremely colorful with an all over design. Retail value for these Cabanarama Invitations is $14.00 per pack ~ but I'll sell them for $10.00 per pack plus shipping. I didn't purchase enough for her ever growning guest list and she really didn't care for this design. It's so difficult for me to remember that she doesn't like the color pink. How can she not like pink ~ Who doesn't like pink?

Basket and Basketball ~

This is the cutest little basket with pompoms, a hinged lid and handle. It has flowers painted on top and it says: Gather Friends like Flowers. It would make the perfect gift basket filled with goodies for a dear friend. Contact me ~ if you're interested in purchasing it. It will be on the website later ~ just trying to decide whether I should use this image or take new pictures.

I'm taking more Vitamins and have lots more energy ~ but still can't get everything done in the day that I need to or want to do. Must.....Get.....Faster!!! My new organizational plan isn't working ~ need a NEW plan of action. Insomnia is back ~ which isn't helping me think very clearly.

Baby Bunny (who will be 14 this week) tried out for the JV Basketball Team. They had to cut 10 players ~ so we're thrilled that she "made the cut" (guess that's the correct terminology). Well ~ I wasn't too excited that she had practice BEFORE School this morning ~ but it's just for 1 week and then she'll have practices after School. Who knew that the Sun doesn't rise until after 7:00 ~ it was STILL pitch black when I returned home this morning. Guess I'd better go to bed early ~ it's going to be another "dark" morning. Poor Baby Bunny has such a hard time getting her Old Mother Rabbit out of bed every morning ~ especially @ 6:00.

"Hoppy" Halloween ~

"Hoppy" Halloween!!! We've been so busy this weekend and it's only half over. We volunteered at our Church's Fall Festival tonight. It was lots of fun and all of the children looked so adorable in their Costumes. I convinced Baby Bunny (who will be 14 next week) to dress up as "Little Red Riding Hood" and she wore her Cape from about 8 years ago. Has it been that long ago?

~ Halloween 2002 ?? ~

The Cape was really short on her this Year ~ but it was a nice quick and super easy "last minute" costume. She was working one of the Fall Festival Booths ~ so we decided it would be fun if she wore a Costume. The picture above is Baby Bunny in 2002 as "Little Red Riding Hood". She didn't want to carry a basket this Year ~ but she still looked "the part". They had a professional photographer at the event tonight ~ so I'll post a picture when I receive them. I'll do a "split screen" with an age progression.

It's almost midnight ~ I'm finishing up my Sunday School Lesson and need to answer a few emails. We're making Prayer Books tomorrow for our class of 2 and 3 year olds. They're going to be really cute and I think they will enjoy making a "Book".

We're having a HUGE Family Luncheon at my Mother's House after Church tomorrow. Some of our Relatives are in town for the Space Shuttle Launch, the Spectacular Air Show and they're also going to Disney World. I think the guest list is approx. 15 or 16 ~ so my Mother is a little stressed but thrilled that they're in town. We're all so excited to see them ~ it's been 3 years since they visited. Wish they lived closer to us so we could spend more time together.

New Blog Banner ~

~ click on image to enlarge ~

I was really hoping that Tiffany would design a few Thanksgiving Blog Banners. So ~ I was thrilled when I saw this Blog Banner in her Etsy Shop last night. I just HAD to add it to my collection ~ isn't it absolutely PERFECT!!!

I'm one lucky Bunny to have crossed paths with the lovely and amazingly talented Tiffany Jane Marshall of "Beyond the Vintage Path". She has a few Fall Blog Banners in her Etsy Shop and she's also selling some of her beautiful rubber stamps on Ebay. I don't know why I'm telling you this ~ since I was going to bid on them myself........ She's always been so kind and generous to me ~ so that's why I'm sharing this information w/you. Bid high and often.......

This Bunny Blog is so precious to me ~ even though I don't Blog daily. (Some days ~ I just don't think Any Bunny could possibly be interested in our life here at the Bunny Cottage) However, I've met so many incredibly wonderful people through my blogging. During this Season of Thanksgiving ~ I'm so truly thankful for all of my blessings ~ but especially for all of my Blog friends.

To be rich in friends is to be poor in nothing. (Lilian Whiting)

Black Dress Tote and Audrey Hepburn Book ~

This "Little Black Dress" Market Tote is so much fun. I have several of these Totes that I use for my Groceries. They're very sturdy ~ yet so incredibly chic!!! Fun, Flirty ~ yet functional. They feature collapsible interior compartments and a virtually indestructible waterproof surface which can be wiped clean and reused indefinitely. These Trendy Totes fold flat for easy storage and are quite large measuring 15.5" x 15" x 8". We have several in stock and they're available for immediate shipment.

This is a close-up of the front of the "Little Black Dress" Tote. Zebra print, little black dress and pink polka dots ~ equals ~ Perfection!! Don't you love it? :)

LOVE ~ LOVE ~ LOVE this Book entitled "How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World". Since I have literally hundreds of books ~ I've been "checking" books out from the Library before buying them. I'm extremely selective about which Books I want to purchase and this one is a "must have" for Every Bunny. I think it's such a well written book ~ might be the perfect Christmas gift for a few people on my List.

So sad that I didn't get all of the Halloween Cards done ~ but I've got them ready for next Year. I spent last week at my Mother's House helping her with a few projects and yesterday I worked in our back yard all day.

Hopefully ~ tomorrow I can get some of the new items listed on the Bunny Chic Boutique website. We have so many adorable products to list. Then, next week ~ we'll start on the Christmas Cards, which will be quite exquisite.

Handmade Halloween Cards ~ Ta-Da!!

~ Click on Image to Enlarge ~

Ta-Da!! The first of my Handmade Halloween Cards!!! In my Sunday School Class yesterday, one of the 2 year old girls kept saying "Ta-Da". She would do it with great fanfare with her arms outstretched ~ it was so adorable!!

So, Ta-Da!!! I'm finally sharing with you one of my Halloween Cards. I have several others ~ but ran out of daylight. What do you think? It looks a lot better in person ~ since the sparkly glitter doesn't show up in the pictures.

The image above is of the front of the handmade card featuring Vintage Images Collages that were designed by my friend ~ the awesomely talented ~ Tiffany Jane.

I used lots of Martha Stewart Black Multi-Dimensional Glitter to accent the Three Black Pumpkins, Bats, Eyes of the Orange Pumpkins, Swirls, etc. There is also iridescent silver glitter on the fabric bow. AND ~ the two Vintage images on the front of the card are printed on Glossy Photo Paper ~ to give them added depth and also because I'm extremely extravagant in almost everything I do.

This image (above) is of the inside of this "unique" Halloween Card. It features a vintage wallpaper background with a removeable fabric flower pin. The Flower is handmade by my friend ~ the incredibly talented ~ Tracy. I LOVE all of her Gorgeous designs!!! Aren't these Fabric Flowers Fabulous? Fun and yet Functional. She uses small scraps of fabric that would otherwise be thrown away.

I thought it would be such a great idea to include a little gift when you sent out a Greeting Card. So, I've incorporated one of Tracy's Fabric Flowers in the design of my Halloween Cards. The Flower is attached to the Card with a small safety pin and is easily removeable. There is a printed note in the top right corner (framed in black ric rac) that says:

"Fabric Flower for your Coat, Clutch or Cottage"

AND ~ you may choose which Fabric Flower you would like attached to the inside of the Halloween Card you purchase. The image above shows the six different choices ~ Yikes, Eeek, Trick or Treat, Boo, Spooky or Happy Halloween. These Flowers make the perfect little gift to brighten SomeBunny's day.

I have lots of additional Halloween Cards with various other Vintage Images. I'll try and get them posted here tomorrow. There are also some "brighter" designs wtihout Vintage images ~ but have "glow in the dark" images instead.

If you're interested in this Card ~ just email me or leave a comment. The introductory price is $4.00 with free shipping.

Cinderella Painting ~

Today I hung this Painting (featured above) in my Bedroom and it looks absolutely Gorgeous. The Painting is a Beautiful Work of Art by Jennifer of jennifersdols (Etsy) and it's entitled ~ "Cinderella". I LOVE all of the details and it has TONS of Glitter on it. Tomorrow ~ I'm going to hang the last curtain/valance and my Bedroom is FINALLY finished.

Beach Bunny had her Senior Portraits today and Baby Bunny played a "round of Golf". It was the most Perfect day and the weather was so nice. I hope that the temps stay down ~ since I have lots of yard work to do.

The Halloween Cards are also FINALLY finished ~ hopefully on Monday we'll be able to take pictures of them and get them listed. I have a lots of new designs for the Christmas Cards and I'm anxious to get those started.

Original Handpainted Bunny Canvas Paintings

I have two more original handpainted Bunny Canvas Paintings that are so Beautiful. They have lots of details and of course the Bunnies are absolutely adorable!! They will both be available on the Bunny Chic Boutique website this weekend.

Yesterday ~ I had lunch and went shopping with my best friend. We had the best time and ALWAYS enjoy spending time together. We've been friends all of our lives ~ since our Fathers were best friends. We even lived next door to each other during our childhood. Can't wait until we "do lunch" again.

New Blog Banner by Tiffany Marshall ~

~ click on image to enlarge ~

New Bunny Chic Boutique Fall Blog Banner by Tiffany Marshall!!! I LOVE this Blog Banner that the incredibly talented Tiffany of "Beyond the Vintage Path" made for me. That Bunny (featured above) with the rosebud tail is so adorable!!! This Blog Banner has so many lovely details ~ the Castle, Carriage, Bunnies sitting on the Pumpkins. I couldn't be more thrilled with it. Thanks so much ~ Tiff!! Love ya!! Here's the link to her Etsy Shop ~ where she has a few more Blog Banners available for purchase.

AND ~ this Banner is my Gorgeous "everyday" Blog Banner that Tiffany made for me. It will be back on here in the Spring.

The Halloween Handmade Cards are almost done. I ran into a few technical and artist delays. First ~ I ran out of ink in my printer, then I printed everything as a mirror image and sadly I'm just artistically challenged. I've tweaked the card designs yet again and the first set of cards will be available soon ~ hopefully tomorrow. Maybe I should just start on Easter Cards.................
I was finally able to "check" something off of my "To Do" List today. I don't know why I'm having such a difficult time getting things accomplished. Of course ~ it's overwhelming to have a 30 page (single spaced) List of Things to Do. I finally finished decorating our little Cottage for Halloween. I placed my Halloween Paintings (by Sylvia) all over the Cottage. Isn't she talented? I'll get the link to her website and put it on here.

I LOVE this Painting of a "Shopping Witch" ~ isn't it (she) Gorgeous??!!

AND ~ this Painting is so intriguing. LOVE the colors and the Shoes are too cute!!!

Does anyone else have difficulty getting everything done? Do I really have A.D.D. ~ as diagnosed by my Daughter? Overwhelmed ~ yes..... Overweight ~ yes.... Overtired ~ yes!!! Over-the-hill ~ yes!!! I just might sleep for the next 24 hours.

So ~ in the process of decorating for Halloween ~ I dropped one of my decorations. It was one calamity after another. First ~ I superglued my fingers together, then while I was soaking my hands in Acetone (fingernail polish remover) ~ I put the ornament on the table. There was enough super glue on the ornament that it was now glued to my antique table. AND ~ while I was trying to pry the ornament off of the table ~ Baby Bunny noticed that the acetone was leaking out of the cup ~ all over the Counter. Did you know that Acetone will "eat" through a Plastic Cup?? On top of that ~ my Manicure was totally destroyed!!!
