Baby Bunny's Dance ~

Baby Bunny went to her Middle School Dance last week and had a really great time with all of her friends (Baby Bunny is on the right ~ back row). She's made so many new friends and likes her School, but misses all of her friends from 6th Grade who went to another School. We're considering possibly changing schools next year for both Beach Bunny and Baby Bunny. Lots and lots of decisions to be made in the coming months ~ who knows what the future will hold for The Bunny Family. Change is good ~ right?

Practice Makes Purr-fect ~

What an erie feeling? Every Bunny is sleeping right now ~ I'm upstairs Blogging on the Laptop and I hear someone playing the piano downstairs. Hopefully ~ it's our Cat Whiskers and not a Ghost. It's a little un-nerving and quite loud ~ so I hope Whiskers finishes practicing the Piano soon.

This Video is on You tube and features Nora playing the Piano.

Trust in the Lord ~

~ Super Scary Swinging Bridge ~

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

This inspirational and encouraging Bible verse has provided comfort to many, many people. It speaks truth in the midst of chaos, guidance in insecurity, promise in uncertainty.

Trusting God~ that's what I'm struggling with right now and also patience. I feel like I'm trying to cross over a deep canyon and the only way to get to the other side is by walking across a swinging bridge. I'm afraid of heights and my recurring nightmare is trying to cross a swinging bridge. Do I have the courage to take a risk and cross over to the unknown? I'm a planner and I get impatient waiting for God to make my path straight.

A Lady at Church has a favorite Quote:

"Want to make God laugh? ~ tell him YOUR plans."

I just wish he would give me a clue about HIS plans for me.

Wedgwood at Estate Sale ~

Who has this for their logo??
I went to an Estate Sale yesterday and bought several Gorgeous pieces of Crystal to add to my overflowing China Cabinets. I don't really need any additional pretties sitting around ~ but these items belonged to a friend of mine who passed away last year. I bought a Crystal Basket, large Crystal Bowl, Mantel Clock, Sterling Silver Coasters, Crystal Centerpiece Bowl, Antique Crystal Decanter, small crystal bowl with Sterling Silver trim, champagne flutes and two unique Dresden Cherub Candlesticks. I'm going to take pictures of the Antique Cherub Candlesticks and maybe even sell them from my website ~ since they're very unique looking.

I was so excited with each and every one of the items that I purchased. I spent yesterday afternoon cleaning the crystal and polishing the silver items. The Crystal Decanter was cloudy with a film inside it ~ but I it looks like new since I used some uncooked rice and dishwasher detergent to clean it.

The Crystal Champagne Glasses had the logo pictured above etched on them. I thought it looked familar and was lucky to find that it was the Wedgwood Logo. Wedgwood just celebrated their 250th Anniversay last year and they are currently having a sale on their website.

So ~ if you happen to see a piece of Crystal with the "W" logo etched on it ~ you know it's Wedgwood. AND the Wedgwood Stemware is quite expensive ~ so I was lucky to find some at an Estate Sale.

LOVE this place setting of China ~ Reinassance Gold and it's currently on sale on the Wedgwood website. I think this Blue and White pattern (pictured above) is very elegant and striking.

If you ever need a Baby Gift ~ this Peter Rabbit Mug by Wedgwood would be a Fabulous gift and it's only $14.00 on the Wedgwood website.

Valentine's Day Decorations ~

Today I started decorating for Valentine's Day ~ even though my Christmas Tree is still up (shhh don't tell AnyBunny). Our Dining Room Table is covered with Christmas decorations that need to be packed away. I was so busy sending out orders from my website (thank you to my customers) that the day flew by. I'm not too stressed about it ~ tomorrow is another day.

The White Rabbit (pictured above and below) was purchased from Jennifers Dols over on Etsy and I think it is absolutely adorable. I have the perfect spot saved for this precious Bunny and I can't wait for him to arrive at his new home ~ here at our Bunny Cottage.

Doesn't he have a very Regal Profile? I'll have to think of the perfect name for him.

AND ~ Tracy over at Tracy B Designs on Etsy made this Gorgeous Valentine's Day Fabric Flower arrangement for me. Her Flowers sell out almost as fast as she lists them ~ so you might want to request a custom order.

In addition to packing up my Christmas decorations tomorrow ~ I also need to work on stocking my website ~ Bunny Chic Boutique. Easter is going to be rather early this Year ~ April 4, 2010 and so I need to get busy listing tons of Bunnies and other Fabulous Finds.

Just hop right here to enter her Giveaway ~ but hurry it ends on 1/20/10.

This is another one of her adorable Necklaces.

AND ~ I LOVE this one too. Any one of these Necklaces would make the perfect Valentine's Day gift for SomeBunny special.

I'm Only Looking Forward ~

When I was 6 ~ I thought that I had major problems. The School Days were long and difficult for me ~ with lots of drama. I had to ride the High School bus, since I was the only Elementary Student in our neighboorhood and of course, my bus stop was the last one. So, I had to climb up on the bus and try to find a seat ~ with these really tall High School students watching me and making comments about my clothes, etc. After a few days ~ one of the Students started saving me a seat near the front of the Bus and that made the ordeal much easier.

See the lovely bruise on my forehead ~ that was the result of being "jumped" by a few 6th grade girls and having my lunch money stolen. Our Maid ~ Josephine ~ told me "the next time they hit you ~ fall to the ground and pretend like you're dead.......then they'll leave you alone." She was right ~ but after that I always brought extra money to school so I'd be able to eat lunch.

Last week was such a "bad news" week. It seemed like every single day brought more bad news and heartache. I spent most of the week in bed ~ it was warm there and I could effectively "dwell" on my the latest drama. So ~ today I decided that Josephine's advice doesn't apply in my current situation. I need to quit playing dead and get on with living and enjoying my life.......

So, I'm only looking forward ~ last week is ancient history. I'm blessed with a very short memory.

May your joy be as long as a Rabbit's Ears and your Sorrow as short as his Tail.

Adorable Vintage Bunnies ~

LOVE this Vintage image ~ isn't that Bunny's face so sweet and absolutely adorable???

AND this Bunny is so cute holding the Baby Chicks ~

I found these Vintage Bunny images over at The Graphic Fairy. Today I was going to make some Valentine's Day Cards ~ but my hands are still frozen. So ~ I might just start on a few Easter Cards.

First ~ I should probably take down our Christmas Tree ~ but it's freezing (literally) in our Living Room. It's just so difficult to do anything when you're wearing thick gloves, 3 layers of clothes with a Winter Top Coat and fluffy Bunny Slippers. That's what I was wearing INSIDE our house ~ which is now officially colder inside than it is outside. Our downstairs Heater isn't working properly and so I decided to turn it off completely. It was 26 degrees last night and I think that I could have left a glass of water in our Living Room last night and it would have frozen. Thankfully ~ we have heat upstairs so we've been staying upstairs and then wearing ALL of our Winter clothes when we go downstairs to eat. I considered fixing a Table upstairs ~ which seemed fun and whimsical at first ~ but then quickly decided it would be too much trouble. Only a few more days and then on Thursday it will be warm again ~ so I'll be thawed out by the weekend.

Hope you're staying warm and please don't worry ~ Spring will be here soon..............

Thank Goodness for Global Warming ~

~ Sleet on the ground ~

This morning ~ I awoke to the sound of sleet hitting our roof. Thank goodness for Global warming ~ because I've been freezing all day and it's going to be even colder tonight. It's going to be 26 tonight and I'm so concerned about my pretty impatiens flowers. There were even snow flurries this afternoon and that's quite rare here in Central Florida. Can you imagine how cold it would be without Global warming? Maybe we'll have a mild Summer this year.

Our House just wasn't built for cold weather ~ guess that Dow Corning didn't exist 120 years ago. I think I'll call for an Energy Survey on Monday ~ maybe we can install some (after construction) insulation. I know we'll survive this Artic Blast and it's only 69 days until the first day of Spring.

I'm looking forward to wearing my Gorgeous Wool Sweater to Church tomorrow. I haven't worn it in about 5 years ~ just hope it doesn't have any moth holes in it. I also have a faux Bunny Fur Collar somewhere .............

Leopard and Zebra Storage Baskets ~

I LOVE these Storage Baskets that Pam over at Sew Gracious makes AND this Leopard design is one of my fav. It has Leopard on one side and is reversible to Zebra on the other side. These Baskets have countless uses and would also make a Fabulous Gift Basket.

I bought two for all of our CD's/Games and also so that I could display both sides ~ Zebra and Leopard.

She also has some adorable Valentine's Day Baskets ~ as well as other trendy and chic accessories. You can visit her Etsy Store by hopping right
here.

Fabulous Banners for Valentine's Day ~

I'm so thrilled with my new Valentine's Day Banners that Tiffany made for my Bunny Blog and for my Etsy Shop. She's so incredibly talented and works tirelessly to make sure that EVERYTHING is pixel perfect. She also made two additional Banners for Spring that are simply Stunning ~ you'll see those the day after Valentine's Day.

You can visit Tiffany's website by hopping right here and hop over here for her Beautiful Blog. She has pictures of her Christmas Tree and it's one of the prettiest trees I've ever seen. If my tree looked that Gorgeous ~ I would probably leave it up year round.

This is the amazing Altered Art Journal that I purchased from Tiffany's Etsy Shop. I love the way that she added so many images and vintage treasures. Everything that she designs (digital and papier) is made with tons of love.

This is just one of the many adorable pages within my new Altered Art Journal by the Fabulous Tiffany Jane Marshall.

Dolce and Gabbana ~ Lots of Leopard

I'm thrilled that the Spring Collection for Dolce and Gabbana has LOTS and LOTS of Leopard. The Jacket above is lined in Leopard print and retails for $2,550.00. That's just the Jacket ~ the Dress is another $1,795.00. Don't you think this Gorgeous Outfit would look better with Leopard print Tights rather than the Black Tights. For a mere $20.00 you could have these.......
Leopard tights available over on the Dillards website for only $20.00 ~ just hop right here. These are the Purr-fect Leopard accessory and will look Fabulous and add warmth when I wear my Black Capri Pants in the Winter. Now I just need to find my Leopard shirt that I thought was out of style and I'll have an updated outfit for $20.00. I think I have a floral print scarf with leopard print that might tie the whole outfit together.

LOVE these Blue Leopard Jeans with the Blue Leopard Shoes..... Jeans ~ $1,150.00 and Shoes ~ $550.00
AND ~ I already have this Gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana Leopard Tunic. My Leopard shirt isn't a Dolce and Gabbana ~ but it looks very similar and mine didn't cost anywhere near $1,395.00.

This Dolce and Gabbana Leopard Handbag is currently available at Amazon.com. It's only $74.99 and originally $525.00 ~ that's a savings of $450.01. You can hop right here to check it out.

"Hoppy" Leopard Hunting ~ I'm so thrilled that Leopard is going to be in style again this Spring. Of course, it's a classic style and hopefully will always be "in vogue".

Pray More ~ Worry Less

Pray More ~ Worry Less
When I made my list of Resolutions yesterday ~ I should have put at the very top of it to pray more and worry less. I'm so worried about my life in 5, 10 and 20 years from now ~ maybe I should just take it "one day at a time" and not worry so much about the future.

I've had several people tell me in the last few days that I need a Hobby. I'm just going to try a few different hobbies ~ until I find something that I really enjoy doing. Craft projects usually stress me out ~ because I'm a perfectionist. Hopefully ~ I'll find something that I LOVE and look forward to working on.

My new Purse came today and I LOVE it. Doesn't it just scream "SPRING"???!! It's something that I really wanted and so I decided to order it as a (post)Christmas present to myself.

"Hoppy" New Year ~

"Hoppy" New Year ~ EveryBunny!!! I'm really looking forward to 2010 and so glad that 2009 is in the past. I know without a doubt that 2010 is going to be Fabulous!!!!

The Ballerina Bunny above was on our Christmas Tree. It's not easy finding Bunny Christmas Tree ornaments and this one even sparkles with glitter.

I was sick for two weeks and then had only 2 days to do all my Christmas shopping and wrap everything. Then ~ also had to plan a Christmas Eve Dinner ~ so we had Outback Steakhouse takeout. I think that will now be our Traditional Christmas Eve Dinner.

This Christmas ornament is so unique ~ it's a Giraffe dressed in denim capris, sweater, red coat and carrying a leopard purse.

LOVE this cute little Ladybug ornament.

AND ~ just try and find a Bunny Santa.... next to impossible. This ornament is made by Department 56.

Of course ~ Peter Rabbit and his Mother are ALWAYS front and center on our tree.

We added an Owl ornament this year ~ since I'm so fascinated with owls. He sits near the top of the tree.

I never realized how many different types of Reindeer that I have. These white lights belonged to my dear sweet neighbor who recently passed away. Her son had a yard sale and I was so excited to buy these. I remember how much Eileen loved these lights and they'll always remind me of her. She had them on her mantel and they reflected in the mirror over her mantel. They look 100 times better in person ~ wish this picture had turned out better.

Do you remember when I blogged about my Reindeerville Village? A blog reader contacted me with information about where I could purchase the rest of my Reindeerville Village. That was the best Christmas present I could ever get and so I immediately ordered "Comet and Vixen's Cozy Hotel" and "Donner's Reindeer Games Toy Shop". Thanks to Julie in Florida ~ I really appreciate you sharing that "priceless" information with me.

The day after Christmas ~ I was in a minor car accident. A concrete median "jumped" right out in front of me ~ good thing I have lots of "clearance" under my SUV. Fortunately ~ my vehicle didn't sustain any damage ~ but I suffered a bad case of whiplash. Today is the first day that I've been able to move my neck without substantial pain. I couldn't believe how I was unable to do simple mundane tasks ~ such as unloading the dishwasher, folding clothes, walking, standing, etc. As long as I was sitting on the couch watching TV ~ absolutely no pain. Seriously ~ chores were painful and as long as I was watching TV with heat on my neck ~ no pain.

I haven't made any New Year's resolutions in several years ~ but I have a few that I want to make for 2010.

1) Spend more quality time with my Bunnies

2) Find a Hobby

3) Eat less ~ exercise more

4) Spend less ~ save more

5) Clutter less ~ organize more

6) Negative less ~ positive more

7) More Random Acts of Kindness

8) Go to the Dentist ~ Blahhh

9) Get a Physical w/blood work ~ Blahhh

10) Go to Eye Doctor (to avoid further accidents/whiplash)

I was also going to add to my list of Resolutions .... quit smoking, drinking and swearing ~ then I could go ahead and check those off as "done" since I don't smoke, drink or swear. Guess ten New Year's Resolutions are enough to begin with and I'll review my progress in 6 months.
