Knee Deep ~

~ Knee Deep in the Atlantic Ocean

I'm still Hopping along ~

First and foremost ~ I'd like to thank every bunny that has emailed me to see if I was still alive and hopping along. I sincerely appreciate all of your well wishes. I'm very much alive ~ bright-eyed and bushy tailed ~ more so than I've been in a very long time. It's been a crazy few months ~ but here are some of the highlights

If I knew then what I know now ~

Well, Mr. Bunny and I have separated ~ it's been several years now. I just didn't want to talk about it here on this Blog. I actually have a secret Blog where I share all about that Chapter of my Life. You may contact me and I'll send you the link for my personal Blog.

I'm no stranger to the rain

But there'll always be tomorrow

And I'll beg, steal or borrow a little sunshine

And I'll put this cloud behind me

That's how the Man designed me

To ride the wind and dance in a hurricane

I'm no longer standing knee deep in yesterday's rain

credits to the two Keiths (Keith Whitley and Toby Keith)

If I only had a Brain ~

Several months ago ~ I was offered a job at a law firm. I had mentioned to my Mother's attorney that I was looking for a job in the legal field and he suggested that I apply for a position at his firm. I was so nervous at that interview ~ it was only the second interview that I had ever been on ..... in my whole life. So ~ I'm now 2 for 2 since he offered me a job as his secretary. Well, they call them legal assistants now.

It's taken me several months to adjust to my long days ~ but I LOVE my new job and my patient boss. I'm learning his idiocracies and he thinks I have a quirky sense of humor. He smiles when he says that ~ so I guess he doesn't find my random comments too annoying.

I went from just remembering to pay the light bill to knowing all the details and facts on about 90 court cases. Sometimes I think that my head might literally explode. The work quote of the week (every week) is "If I only had a brain!" I was completely honest at my job interview and never claimed to be a member of MENSA ~ just a desperate housewife who hasn't worked in 20 years.

I'm now knee deep in court files during the week

and then knee deep in the ocean on weekends.

Life is Grand ~ Thank you God for everything!!

Bunny Ladies who Lunch ~

Tomorrow my BFF ~ DeLys and I are going out to lunch to celebrate her Birthday. We've been best friends since we were 2 years old and will be friends always and forever!!

DeLys has a lovely collection of Tea Pots and Tea Cups. I found a pretty little tea pot/tea cup set that has the "Ladies who Lunch" logo on it. I thought it would be the perfect gift for her. Can't wait to spend the afternoon with her.

2011 Large Lilly Pulitzer Agenda ~

I just listed my very last Lilly Pulitzer 2011 Agenda on Ebay. This one is the LARGE size not the smaller pocket Agenda. Happy Valentine's Day ~

Hope you had a "Hoppy" Valentine's Day. This is the Banner that I was going to feature on Valentine's Day ~ but I'm just a little late posting it. Tiffany Jane designed this Valentine's Day Banner and I just love each and every little de-tail. Please "click" on the image to enlarge.

We had a very quiet evening at home and my Bunnies gave me a large bouquet of pretty pink roses and a lovely card. Now ~ let's start decorating for Easter.......bring on the Bunnies!!

Mrs. Rabbit and Baby Bunnies Painting ~

I'm in LOVE with this Painting by Sylvia of Follow the Moon Art and wish I could add it to my art collection. Maybe one day soon I'll be able to afford it ~ but sadly it's not in the budget this month. This Painting of Mrs. Rabbit and her Baby Bunnies is simply Stunning and would look absolutely priceless hanging in a Nursery. It measures approx. 26" x 17" and is hand painted on a bead board cabinet door panel ~ so it has a vintage look to it. I'm continually amazed and impressed by Sylvia's incredible artist talent. You can hop right over here to purchase this Gorgeous Painting. She also has lots of Art Prints from her original paintings that are available in her Ebay Store ~ just hop right here for her Store. I'm sure you'll find a priceless treasure to add to your Art Collection.

Imagination is more important than knowledge ~

Imagination is more important than knowledge...... which is a quote by Albert Einstein. Surprising that he said that ~ isn't it? This image (above) is another Beautiful Blog Banner by Tiffany Marshall. I thought that the quote really went with the design.

My latest and greatest Blog Banner for Valentine's Day is featured at the top of this Blog. Isn't it Fabulous and absolutely Gorgeous??!!! I just LOVE my latest Valentine's Blog Banner ~ it has so many adorable Bunnies featured. It is also by Tiffany Marshall and she has another one similar to my Valentine's Day Banner in her Etsy Shop ~ just hop right over here.

1 Christmas Reception @ Church

I was so flattered that they asked me to do all of the Christmas Decorations for a eceiption at Church. It's probably because no one else wanted to do it. That's okay ~ I've got it "under control" except that I just remembered I also said I would bring 6 dozen cookies. The decorations will either look like something from Fred Sanford's front yard or Martha Stewart's Dining Room........ I'll get Baby Bunny to take lots of pictures with her new camera. I think all three of my Sisters and my Mother are all coming to help me...... Right Sisters??

Speaking of my three Sisters ~ can't share it here yet, but I'm making them all something priceless, precious and perfect for Christmas. It is only going to take about 20 minutes for each gift ~ but I'm running out of time.

I'm also making several adorable Hostess Gift Baskets for several of the parties that we've been invited to. They are all Reindeer themed baskets and I've found so many adorable items to include. Rudolph collector ornament, Reindeer food for Christmas Eve, Reindeer Hand Towel, Moose Munch, Reindeer Cookies, Rudolph Hot Cocoa...........

MUST ~ GET ~ Christmas Cards ~ Mailed ~ Today!!!

Gift Ideas ~ Part 3 ~ Handbags!!!

I would absolutely LOVE to receive this Rosette Clutch (pictured above) as a gift. However, they are completely sold out online. This specific Clutch retails for approx. $35.00 ~ hence the unavailability of same. You just might get lucky and find one at your local Saks Fifth Avenue Store. It's designed and made by Stephanie Johnson and is the Katie Clutch. Don't you love it?

Here's another great idea for a Gift Card Holder or you could use it for a cute Treat Box. To purchase this Purse Template ~ just hop over here.

Another Pretty Purse and it's available in several different colors ~ blue, red, black, etc. It's on sale for just $67.50. Just hop right over here to Zappos ~ which offers free shipping w/free shipping for returns too.

AND I simply MUST have this Post-It Note Holder that is shaped like a handbag!! Just hop right over here or visit your local office supply store.

I've been unable to locate the 365 Days of Handbags Calendar for 2011 (Wall Calendar). Unfortunately ~ I think they have discontinued it. I've found the 365 Days of Shoes ~ but I'd rather have the Handbag Calendar. Please email me if you know where I can purchase one ..........

Gift Ideas ~ Part 2

Here are a few additional Ideas for Gifts. This is the cutest little Bunny "Ring Holder" (pictured above) and it's available over on Anthropologie's website for only $10.00. (I didn't know they sold anything for under $50.00 over there at Anthropologie). It would also make the perfect Mother's Day or Easter Gift. Just hop right over here to order one for yourself or SomeBunny special !!

I needed one of these "Purse Holders" the other day when I was dining at a local Restaurant. I really got tired of holding my Purse in my lap for the entire meal. This Purse Holder hangs from the Table and keeps your purse close by and off of the filthy floor. It's available at your local Pier One Imports for only $9.00. You can hop right over here for more details.

This Painting really makes me LOL ~ isn't it hilarious!?!! It's entitled "Give me your Carrots" and features a determined Bunny "holding up" Snowmen for their Carrots using a Hair Dryer. It's made by Sylvia at Follow the Moon Art.

Wouldn't a beautiful piece of humorous or whimsical art make the perfect gift?

AND ~ this is such a Gorgeous Painting/Collage featuring a row of houses. I have one very similar to this hanging in my Bedroom and enjoy it every single day. A "Work of Art" is a Fabulous Gift for Christmas or any time of the Year. Treat yourself to something lovely!! Just hop right over here to purchase this Stunning Painting.

I'm crazy busy as always and just celebrated my Birthday this past weekend. I received so many pretty presents and crafty cards. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks to EveryBunny who sent Birthday wishes ~ I'm truly blessed beyond measure.

Another New Blog Banner ~

It's going to be a few months before I can use my newest Blog Banner (featured above) ~ so thought I'd share it with you today. Tiffany really did a Fabulous job with this one ~ didn't she? I was really "drawn" to it for some reason. I think that the quote speaks "volumes" ~ especially since it's by Albert Eistein. The quote reads:

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"

Tiffany has a few Banners in her Etsy Shop ~ as well as some really adorable Christmas (digital) images. You can hop right over here ~ if you're interested.
