Bromeliad in the Wild for Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in Nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

Then hop on over to Pampering Beki's Blog ~ she's the Fabulous Hostess for this inspirational event!!

This is a picture of the bloom on our Bromeliad that is growing wild in our back yard (aka The Parker Jungle). I know the neighbors refer to our backyard as the Parker Jungle because we have so many wild "animals" living back there and we've left it "natural". We have Raccoons, Opossums, tons of Snakes, Screech Owls, Osprey, Turtles, Squirrels, Painted Bunting, Cardinals and one sweet little Bunny that Zoe LOVES to chase. We've been re-locating the Raccoons and Opossums for obvious reasons ~ Zoe likes to chase them too and unfortunately we don't have pet medical insurance. The Vet referes to our fearless little Yorkie as his Annunity Plan. :)

I was surprised that this Bromeliad bloomed this week ~ it hasn't bloomed in Years. As soon as I saw the Flower on Monday ~ I knew it would be my "Fingerprint Friday". Thankfully ~ God has been taking care of this "Fingerprint" for me by providing lots of rain. Although ~ Bromeliads aren't my favorite ~ I have to admit that I'm enjoying this lovely Bloom.

Next week ~ maybe I'll share the pictures of the Wild Parker Jungle with you. I forgot to mention that we also have more than our fair share of Mosquitos and Lizards. :)

That flower is beautiful! I've never seen one of those before.

I'm so glad that you saw it on Monday and knew right away that it would be your Fingerprint Friday. :) That's the whole point of this series - to get our eyes open and noticing more and more gifts from God all around us!
