"Hoppy" New Year ~

"Hoppy" New Year ~ EveryBunny!!! I'm really looking forward to 2010 and so glad that 2009 is in the past. I know without a doubt that 2010 is going to be Fabulous!!!!

The Ballerina Bunny above was on our Christmas Tree. It's not easy finding Bunny Christmas Tree ornaments and this one even sparkles with glitter.

I was sick for two weeks and then had only 2 days to do all my Christmas shopping and wrap everything. Then ~ also had to plan a Christmas Eve Dinner ~ so we had Outback Steakhouse takeout. I think that will now be our Traditional Christmas Eve Dinner.

This Christmas ornament is so unique ~ it's a Giraffe dressed in denim capris, sweater, red coat and carrying a leopard purse.

LOVE this cute little Ladybug ornament.

AND ~ just try and find a Bunny Santa.... next to impossible. This ornament is made by Department 56.

Of course ~ Peter Rabbit and his Mother are ALWAYS front and center on our tree.

We added an Owl ornament this year ~ since I'm so fascinated with owls. He sits near the top of the tree.

I never realized how many different types of Reindeer that I have. These white lights belonged to my dear sweet neighbor who recently passed away. Her son had a yard sale and I was so excited to buy these. I remember how much Eileen loved these lights and they'll always remind me of her. She had them on her mantel and they reflected in the mirror over her mantel. They look 100 times better in person ~ wish this picture had turned out better.

Do you remember when I blogged about my Reindeerville Village? A blog reader contacted me with information about where I could purchase the rest of my Reindeerville Village. That was the best Christmas present I could ever get and so I immediately ordered "Comet and Vixen's Cozy Hotel" and "Donner's Reindeer Games Toy Shop". Thanks to Julie in Florida ~ I really appreciate you sharing that "priceless" information with me.

The day after Christmas ~ I was in a minor car accident. A concrete median "jumped" right out in front of me ~ good thing I have lots of "clearance" under my SUV. Fortunately ~ my vehicle didn't sustain any damage ~ but I suffered a bad case of whiplash. Today is the first day that I've been able to move my neck without substantial pain. I couldn't believe how I was unable to do simple mundane tasks ~ such as unloading the dishwasher, folding clothes, walking, standing, etc. As long as I was sitting on the couch watching TV ~ absolutely no pain. Seriously ~ chores were painful and as long as I was watching TV with heat on my neck ~ no pain.

I haven't made any New Year's resolutions in several years ~ but I have a few that I want to make for 2010.

1) Spend more quality time with my Bunnies

2) Find a Hobby

3) Eat less ~ exercise more

4) Spend less ~ save more

5) Clutter less ~ organize more

6) Negative less ~ positive more

7) More Random Acts of Kindness

8) Go to the Dentist ~ Blahhh

9) Get a Physical w/blood work ~ Blahhh

10) Go to Eye Doctor (to avoid further accidents/whiplash)

I was also going to add to my list of Resolutions .... quit smoking, drinking and swearing ~ then I could go ahead and check those off as "done" since I don't smoke, drink or swear. Guess ten New Year's Resolutions are enough to begin with and I'll review my progress in 6 months.

Hi, I was just doing a google search for a giraffe ornament in a red coat and the image results pulled up your awesome blog! The reason I've been looking is because my mother collects giraffes and has that ornament. Sadly, a year or so ago, a friend of my mothers accidentally broke the head off of the ornament and my mom has been on a hunt for another one ever since. I was wondering where the ornament comes from in hopes that I might surprise her with a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year. Kindest regards! C. Murphy
