It's not supposed to be that way~but it happened anyway!!

The image above WAS my Wallpaper for my Computer before it's untimely demise. The reason that I got a new Computer was because my old one was getting ready to crash. Then, after only 1 month my expensive new PC crashes after it had lulled me into a false sense of security. It lead me to believe that I had enough memory for a lifetime of photos and countless files. It's just not supposed to be that way..... you don't expect a brand new Computer to crash. However, it had a defective hard drive and the computer tech was unable to save ANY of my photos or files.... they're gone forever!! All the work that I did on my new product ~ Bunny Bless You ~ is gone forever!! So, I'll have to start over ~ which will delay the launch date.

If I could turn back time.....

I would have contacted carbonite.com immediately so that they could assist me with transferring my Carbonite Account to my new Computer. I thought I had plenty of time to get it set up on my new Computer. I'm regretting that I procrastinated calling them. Unfortunately ~ I've lost one month of work. PLEASE ~ if you don't have a current backup for your Computer files, photos, etc. ~ sign up with Carbonite.com. Don't wait ~ do it now!! Trust me ~ you never know when your Computer might crash!! Even a brand new one...... It's just not supposed to be that way~~~but it happened anyway!!!

We have not one, not two ~ but three Great Horned Owls that "talk" back and forth to each other every night ~ RIGHT outside our Bedroom window. It's enough to scare any little Bunny to death and they're keeping me up at night. I'd love to know what they're saying to each other. Owls are extremely fascinating ~ even though they're predators of Bunnies.

P.S. I should have my new Computer set up again in a few days. It's back to the factory settings and once I load all of my programs ~ I'll be in business and this nightmare will be a distant memory. Hopefully ~ I've learned a valuable lesson about procrastination ~ time will tell.

Irony upon Irony upon Irony ~

Irony ~ my life at present is full of Irony......

Santa brought me a new Computer for Christmas because my old Computer was just about a heartbeat away from Crashing. I had used up all the Memory on my old Computer with Games, Music, Pictures and Junk. My new Computer ~ top of the line ~ and with enough memory for 90,000 Pictures!!! Ironically ~ it crashed last week.
Late one night last week ~ I posted on this very Blog about my Hero June Cleaver and how I so wanted to be more like her. Right after I published that Post ~ my brand new fancy Computer crashed. A wink from God with an answer to my prayer for a simpler life or perhaps subtle irony.

After I recovered from the shock of how this could happen ~ I then spent what seemed like a day and a half on the telephone with Customer Support. Diagnosis ~ Defective Hard Drive. So, hopefully the Computer Tech is burning the midnight oil at this very moment ~ transferring all my "stuff" over to the new Hard Drive. I'll know in the morning if he was able to save all my pictures and documents.

Ironically ~ this is my 100th Post!! So, for my 100th Post ~ instead of having a Giveaway or a huge celebration ~ I'm posting about my Computer Woes. I'm using my Daughter's laptop and don't even have access to any of my pictures or my email.
So ~
If you have emailed me and I haven't responded yet ~ please email me again after Wednesday (2/04/09). I only have access to one of my four email accounts. You can always leave a comment for me here.
~ Bunny Blessings ~

My Job Description ~

June Cleaver is the ultimate "SAHM". If June Cleaver had a Computer ~ would she spend the day on it? Would she have a Blog? What would she Blog about? Stain Removal? The Secret to a Perfect Pie Crust? Would she order take-out or Pizza for Dinner for her Family?

I try so hard to be like June Cleaver ~ but most days I'm probably more like Peg Bundy.

Daughters of the American Revolution Luncheon

I attended the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Luncheon at the Country Club and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and inspirational Program. The Philip Perry Chapter of the DAR presented the Medal of Honor to Col. Danny McKnight at the Luncheon. Then he spoke briefly about his involvement with Black Hawk Down, a little about Leadership and mostly about Patroitism.

Col. McKnight (pictured above) lives in the area and travels all over the Country and speaks to groups about Leadership.

War Movies are among my very least favorite and I never saw the Movie ~ Black Hawk Down but must admit to being intrigued. I might even watch the Movie to find out more about this Event in History.

When I was researching Black Hawk Down and Col. Danny McKnight ~ I saw that they actually made a Danny McKnight Doll. I'm not sure which one is Col. McKnight ~ but thought this was so amazing. Wonder if they're selling them over on Ebay.

Bunny Buckets ~

I just received these Beautiful Fabric Bunny Buckets from Gina over at Henry and Zoe. Aren't they so adorable? I couldn't decide if I liked the blue or the white canvas background ~ so I just went ahead and ordered both of them.

This Bunny Bucket with the white background has pretty blue and white bows on each side. These Gorgeous Bunny Buckets are huge and they have so many uses ~ including being a truly unique Easter Basket. There are several fabric options available ~ just hop over here to order one from the HenryandZoe Etsy Store.

I'm in love with this shabby chic fabric and the lining is a green polka dot fabric~~ it's going to match our Master Bedroom perfectly!! Custom Embroidery with the word "bows" is also available ~ as well as other fabrics. These are a little smaller in size than the Bunny Buckets ~ but just as practical and pretty. Hop right here for one of these lovely buckets.

Gina at henryandzoe also made a Colored Pencil Roll for me using the same fabrics as the Blue Bunny Bucket. Hop right here for a Pencil Roll ~ which is also available in several different fabrics.

A picture of the inside of the Bunny Colored Pencil Roll ~ which holds 24 Colored Pencils. HenryandZoe have tons of gifts and products for babies and then HenryandZoeStudio have lots of unique items for artists ~ young & old.

I LOVE using unique containers to organize my stuff and it just doesn't get any better than bunnies and roses. Gina is super sweet and such a Fabulous and talented designer/seamstress.

"Hoppy" Holidays ~

"Hoppy" Holidays to EveryBunny!!!

Yes ~ I'm at least a Month behind on Everything!! Don't you worry ~ I'll be completely caught up by Easter and possibly even by Valentine's Day!!

Santa brought me a new Computer, Printer and Scanner. I just had to try out the Scanner and so I scanned our Christmas Cards (above). I also had Portraits made of the girls and surprised Mr. Bunny with it on Christmas morning. It was really difficult keeping the Portrait a secret from him ~ especially since he usually helps me sends out our Christmas Cards each Year. AND ~ this Year I really could have used his help AND he even volunteered several times to help me............. However, it was ALL worth it to see the look on his face when he opened his present and saw their Portrait. The girls are 4 1/2 years apart and yet the youngest is now the tallest (5 ft 6 inches). They wear the same size clothes ~ which should be a good thing but it's just one more thing that they enjoy arguing about.

It was truly a miracle that my Computer didn't crash before Christmas. I was so busy and really didn't have time to deal with any Computer issues. I don't like change and almost cried when I said goodbye to my old Computer, Scanner, Printer, etc. ~ we've been through so much together.

Of course, now I'm having to learn the new Microsoft Office software and photo software plus how to work my Printer and Scanner, etc. but it's well worth it. If I could only get used to this fancy new keyboard..... I've never in my life made so many typos..... AND my "delete" key ~ which I use constantly ~ is four times the size of my old "delete" key and yet I can't ever find it~

We had a Fabulous Christmas and I'm finally refreshed from the busiest month of my entire life. Luckily ~ I survived with only two nervous breakdowns. I have already made the guest list for next Christmas and "stress" won't be invited........
