I'm still Hopping along ~

First and foremost ~ I'd like to thank every bunny that has emailed me to see if I was still alive and hopping along. I sincerely appreciate all of your well wishes. I'm very much alive ~ bright-eyed and bushy tailed ~ more so than I've been in a very long time. It's been a crazy few months ~ but here are some of the highlights

Well, Mr. Bunny and I have separated ~ it's been several years now. I just didn't want to talk about it here on this Blog. I actually have a secret Blog where I share all about that Chapter of my Life. You may contact me and I'll send you the link for my personal Blog.

I'm no stranger to the rain

If I only had a Brain ~

Several months ago ~ I was offered a job at a law firm. I had mentioned to my Mother's attorney that I was looking for a job in the legal field and he suggested that I apply for a position at his firm. I was so nervous at that interview ~ it was only the second interview that I had ever been on ..... in my whole life. So ~ I'm now 2 for 2 since he offered me a job as his secretary. Well, they call them legal assistants now.

It's taken me several months to adjust to my long days ~ but I LOVE my new job and my patient boss. I'm learning his idiocracies and he thinks I have a quirky sense of humor. He smiles when he says that ~ so I guess he doesn't find my random comments too annoying.

I went from just remembering to pay the light bill to knowing all the details and facts on about 90 court cases. Sometimes I think that my head might literally explode. The work quote of the week (every week) is "If I only had a brain!" I was completely honest at my job interview and never claimed to be a member of MENSA ~ just a desperate housewife who hasn't worked in 20 years.

I'm now knee deep in court files during the week

and then knee deep in the ocean on weekends.

Life is Grand ~ Thank you God for everything!!

Tomorrow my BFF ~ DeLys and I are going out to lunch to celebrate her Birthday. We've been best friends since we were 2 years old and will be friends always and forever!!

DeLys has a lovely collection of Tea Pots and Tea Cups. I found a pretty little tea pot/tea cup set that has the "Ladies who Lunch" logo on it. I thought it would be the perfect gift for her. Can't wait to spend the afternoon with her.

I was so flattered that they asked me to do all of the Christmas Decorations for a eceiption at Church. It's probably because no one else wanted to do it. That's okay ~ I've got it "under control" except that I just remembered I also said I would bring 6 dozen cookies. The decorations will either look like something from Fred Sanford's front yard or Martha Stewart's Dining Room........ I'll get Baby Bunny to take lots of pictures with her new camera. I think all three of my Sisters and my Mother are all coming to help me...... Right Sisters??

Speaking of my three Sisters ~ can't share it here yet, but I'm making them all something priceless, precious and perfect for Christmas. It is only going to take about 20 minutes for each gift ~ but I'm running out of time.

This is the most adorable Set and it's one of my absolute favorite items ~ even without a single Bunny on it. I just listed it over on Ebay ~ so you can hop right over here to check it out. The Auction ends on 11/30/10 ~ so you need to hop like a Bunny or fly super fast like a magical Reindeer .

There are so many cute details on this collectible which was designed by Heather Goldminc and sold by Blue Sky Clayworks. It features three Reindeer learning to fly ~ one Reindeer trainee on the roof, one on the ladder and one that has fallen ~ Splat ~ onto the Mattress..........

Here is a closeup (above) of the Reindeer Trainee that has landed on the Mattress. This Set is just so whimsical ~ you just can't help but smile when you see it. There are 6 ceramic pieces to this highly collectible set. It was introduced in 2005 and has since been retired ~ so this "priceless piece" is difficult to find.

Happy 14th Birthday Baby Bunny!!! We L♥VE You and are so proud of the lovely young lady (inside and out) that you've become. You've always looked great in Pearls!! That's what I should have gotten you for your 14th Birthday ~ a nice "string of pearls". Guess I'll wait until your "Sweet 16" ~ that would probably be more appropriate. Although ~ I'm afraid you're going to want a car for your "Sweet 16".

It just seems like yesterday that she was turning 1 and we had ALL of the Family over for a HUGE Birthday party. To say that the last 14 years have gone by quickly is an understatement. I feel like I blinked ~ turned around twice and now she's 14.

Well ~ we're crazy busy planning her 14th Birthday Party. We thought about having it at the new Mitchell Ellington Park ~ which was named after my Father. She never got to meet him ~ he passed away before Baby Bunny was born. However, she's heard a lot about him and we thought it would be fun to have it at "his" Park ~ especially since it's such a Fabulous Park. My Father would have been so proud ~ but humble that they named a Park after him. He was truly a remarkable man and the epitome of a Southern Gentleman.

Instead of "The" Park ~ we've decided to have a Beach/Pool Party. It'll be at our Condo's Clubhouse ~ which is right next to the Pool AND the Beach. The Guest List keeps growing and we MUST send out the Invitations tomorrow. I'm trying to keep it simple ~ the less stress the better. Cake ~ Ice Cream ~ Sun ~ Fun

I didn't purchase enough for her ever growning guest list and she really didn't care for this design. It's so difficult for me to remember that she doesn't like the color pink. Basket and Basketball ~

This is the cutest little basket with pompoms, a hinged lid and handle. It has flowers painted on top and it says: Gather Friends like Flowers. I'm taking more Vitamins and have lots more energy ~ but still can't get everything done in the day that I need to or want to do. Must.....Get.....Faster!!! My new organizational plan isn't working ~ need a NEW plan of action. Insomnia is back ~ which isn't helping me think very clearly.

Baby Bunny (who will be 14 this week) tried out for the JV Basketball Team. They had to cut 10 players ~ so we're thrilled that she "made the cut" (guess that's the correct terminology). Well ~ I wasn't too excited that she had practice BEFORE School this morning ~ but it's just for 1 week and then she'll have practices after School. Who knew that the Sun doesn't rise until after 7:00 ~ it was STILL pitch black when I returned home this morning. Guess I'd better go to bed early ~ it's going to be another "dark" morning. Poor Baby Bunny has such a hard time getting her Old Mother Rabbit out of bed every morning ~ especially @ 6:00.

"Hoppy" Halloween ~

"Hoppy" Halloween!!! We've been so busy this weekend and it's only half over. We volunteered at our Church's Fall Festival tonight. It was lots of fun and all of the children looked so adorable in their Costumes. I convinced Baby Bunny (who will be 14 next week) to dress up as "Little Red Riding Hood" and she wore her Cape from about 8 years ago. Has it been that long ago?

~ Halloween 2002 ?? ~

The Cape was really short on her this Year ~ but it was a nice quick and super easy "last minute" costume. She was working one of the Fall Festival Booths ~ so we decided it would be fun if she wore a Costume. The picture above is Baby Bunny in 2002 as "Little Red Riding Hood". She didn't want to carry a basket this Year ~ but she still looked "the part". They had a professional photographer at the event tonight ~ so I'll post a picture when I receive them. I'll do a "split screen" with an age progression.

It's almost midnight ~ I'm finishing up my Sunday School Lesson and need to answer a few emails. We're making Prayer Books tomorrow for our class of 2 and 3 year olds. They're going to be really cute and I think they will enjoy making a "Book".

We're having a HUGE Family Luncheon at my Mother's House after Church tomorrow. Some of our Relatives are in town for the Space Shuttle Launch, the Spectacular Air Show and they're also going to Disney World. I think the guest list is approx. 15 or 16 ~ so my Mother is a little stressed but thrilled that they're in town. We're all so excited to see them ~ it's been 3 years since they visited. Wish they lived closer to us so we could spend more time together.

LOVE ~ LOVE ~ LOVE this Book entitled "How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World". Since I have literally hundreds of books ~ I've been "checking" books out from the Library before buying them. I'm extremely selective about which Books I want to purchase and this one is a "must have" for Every Bunny. I think it's such a well written book ~ might be the perfect Christmas gift for a few people on my List.

So sad that I didn't get all of the Halloween Cards done ~ but I've got them ready for next Year. I spent last week at my Mother's House helping her with a few projects and yesterday I worked in our back yard all day.

Hopefully ~ tomorrow I can get some of the new items listed on the Bunny Chic Boutique website. We have so many adorable products to list. Then, next week ~ we'll start on the Christmas Cards, which will be quite exquisite.

Handmade Halloween Cards ~ Ta-Da!!

Ta-Da!! The first of my Handmade Halloween Cards!!! In my Sunday School Class yesterday, one of the 2 year old girls kept saying "Ta-Da". She would do it with great fanfare with her arms outstretched ~ it was so adorable!!

So, Ta-Da!!! I'm finally sharing with you one of my Halloween Cards. I have several others ~ but ran out of daylight. What do you think? It looks a lot better in person ~ since the sparkly glitter doesn't show up in the pictures.

The image above is of the front of the handmade card featuring Vintage Images Collages that were designed by my friend ~ the awesomely talented ~ Tiffany Jane.

I used lots of Martha Stewart Black Multi-Dimensional Glitter to accent the Three Black Pumpkins, Bats, Eyes of the Orange Pumpkins, Swirls, etc. There is also iridescent silver glitter on the fabric bow. AND ~ the two Vintage images on the front of the card are printed on Glossy Photo Paper ~ to give them added depth and also because I'm extremely extravagant in almost everything I do.

This image (above) is of the inside of this "unique" Halloween Card. It features a vintage wallpaper background with a removeable fabric flower pin. The Flower is handmade by my friend ~ the incredibly talented ~ Tracy. I LOVE all of her Gorgeous designs!!! Aren't these Fabric Flowers Fabulous? Fun and yet Functional. She uses small scraps of fabric that would otherwise be thrown away.

I thought it would be such a great idea to include a little gift when you sent out a Greeting Card. So, I've incorporated one of Tracy's Fabric Flowers in the design of my Halloween Cards. The Flower is attached to the Card with a small safety pin and is easily removeable. There is a printed note in the top right corner (framed in black ric rac) that says:

"Fabric Flower for your Coat, Clutch or Cottage"

AND ~ you may choose which Fabric Flower you would like attached to the inside of the Halloween Card you purchase. The image above shows the six different choices ~ Yikes, Eeek, Trick or Treat, Boo, Spooky or Happy Halloween. These Flowers make the perfect little gift to brighten SomeBunny's day.

I have lots of additional Halloween Cards with various other Vintage Images. I'll try and get them posted here tomorrow. There are also some "brighter" designs wtihout Vintage images ~ but have "glow in the dark" images instead.

Cinderella Painting ~

Today I hung this Painting (featured above) in my Bedroom and it looks absolutely Gorgeous. The Painting is a Beautiful Work of Art by Jennifer of jennifersdols (Etsy) and it's entitled ~ "Cinderella". I LOVE all of the details and it has TONS of Glitter on it. Tomorrow ~ I'm going to hang the last curtain/valance and my Bedroom is FINALLY finished.

Beach Bunny had her Senior Portraits today and Baby Bunny played a "round of Golf". It was the most Perfect day and the weather was so nice. I hope that the temps stay down ~ since I have lots of yard work to do.

The Halloween Cards are also FINALLY finished ~ hopefully on Monday we'll be able to take pictures of them and get them listed. I have a lots of new designs for the Christmas Cards and I'm anxious to get those started.

Yesterday ~ I had lunch and went shopping with my best friend. We had the best time and ALWAYS enjoy spending time together. We've been friends all of our lives ~ since our Fathers were best friends. We even lived next door to each other during our childhood. Can't wait until we "do lunch" again.

The Halloween Handmade Cards are almost done. I ran into a few technical and artist delays. First ~ I ran out of ink in my printer, then I printed everything as a mirror image and sadly I'm just artistically challenged. I was finally able to "check" something off of my "To Do" List today. I don't know why I'm having such a difficult time getting things accomplished. Of course ~ it's overwhelming to have a 30 page (single spaced) List of Things to Do. I finally finished decorating our little Cottage for Halloween. I placed my Halloween Paintings (by Sylvia) all over the Cottage. Isn't she talented? I'll get the link to her website and put it on here.

I LOVE this Painting of a "Shopping Witch" ~ isn't it (she) Gorgeous??!!

AND ~ this Painting is so intriguing. LOVE the colors and the Shoes are too cute!!!

Does anyone else have difficulty getting everything done? Do I really have A.D.D. ~ as diagnosed by my Daughter? Overwhelmed ~ yes..... Overweight ~ yes.... Overtired ~ yes!!! Over-the-hill ~ yes!!! I just might sleep for the next 24 hours.

So ~ in the process of decorating for Halloween ~ I dropped one of my decorations. It was one calamity after another. First ~ I superglued my fingers together, then while I was soaking my hands in Acetone (fingernail polish remover) ~ I put the ornament on the table. There was enough super glue on the ornament that it was now glued to my antique table. AND ~ while I was trying to pry the ornament off of the table ~ Baby Bunny noticed that the acetone was leaking out of the cup ~ all over the Counter. Did you know that Acetone will "eat" through a Plastic Cup?? On top of that ~ my Manicure was totally destroyed!!!

I have several additional Handmade Halloween Cards that I worked on today. Hopefully ~ I can get pictures taken and will post about them here tomorrow. I had to make a "supply run" ~ which turned into an all out treasure hunt at THREE different stores. So ~ that was how I spent my Sunday afternoon yesterday. I'm now addicted to Martha Stewart Glitter ~ LOVE it and just can't get enough of it. Our local Wal-mart used to carry it ~ but now I can't find it here locally. Don't worry ~ I found LOTS and LOTS of other items to add to my stash of supplies.

Please check back tomorrow so you can see the 3 Cards that took 4 days and about $100.00 worth of supplies to make. I really love the way they turned out and if they don't sell ~ I'll just send them to my family and friends. At least I had fun making them.

Her Team is playing against a neighboring Jr./Sr. High School ~ where most of her friends attend. She'll probably attend that School next year IF we decide to move to Cocoa Beach. It's so tempting to live in a Condo.....Would we miss having a Yard? Is it just that the grass is always greener on the other side........

Bunnies had a Busy Weekend ~

We had such a crazy busy weekend. Baby Bunny had a HUGE Research project due today ~ so she spent a lot of time this past week working on it. She had golf for most of Saturday ~ which was lots of fun. Yesterday we went to Church and then to the Beach. I need a long weekend to recover from this past weekend.

Tonight ~ Baby Bunny has another Basketball Game. Her team is playing much better ~ but they really need to win their Game tonight. They lost by one point last Thursday night ~ so sad. I like this action shot above ~ which shows Baby Bunny (who's almost 14 now) with the ball. She's the one wearing the white uniform ~ #31. Sometimes ~ I just can't watch ~ especially when she's "shooting foul shots". I'll try and take some pics tonight and post them in the morning.

Guess I'd better start saving now.......... at least she doesn't care if it's new or not. A used "beat up" truck is fine with her. However, it's not just the cost of the Truck ~ but also the car insurance and another Teen needing gas $$.

We're still working like crazy on the website and have so much to list. My new Assistant is only working 3 hours per day and I really need her 24/7. This section of the website (New Items) was making me ~ well crazy. I know that there must be a way to have new items listed ~ so that the newest items show up first on the "New Items" page. However, my Items were showing up in A - Z order instead of the newest item showing first. I think if I change it ~ that it would also change ALL of my website Categories and I don't want that for each Category. I do love hosting with Pappashop ~ but IMHO (in my humble opinion) there "Help" section needs "Help" and lots of it.

So ~ we made the image (featured above) this afternoon since we changed the "New Items" Category to "All Items". I really LOVE this Vintage "Boy with Bunny" image. The expression on the little Bunny's face is priceless and makes me laugh. The little Boy is telling the Bunny about all of the Bunny Chic Boutique items from A - Z. What do you think? NASA Song Contest ~

There will only be two more Space Shuttle Launches and then ~ sadly ~ that's the end of the Shuttle Program. NASA is having a Song Contest to pick the two songs that will be played as the "wake-up" songs for the last two Shuttle Missions. As of 10/01/10 ~ there will be approx. 8000 Space Shuttle Employees laid off. I have lots of friends and family members who might lose their jobs as of 10/01. The Economy in this area is already bleak and with eight thousand unemployed shuttle workers ~ it's definitely going to get a lot worse. Hopefully ~ they will all be able to find other jobs at the Kennedy Space Center.

So ~ back to the contest........ NASA has a website where you can vote for the last two "wake up" songs that will be played for the last two Space Shuttle Missions. There are 40 songs to choose from ~ songs that were previous "wakeup songs". As of today ~ the theme Song from "Star Trek" is in the lead. I've been voting for several of my favorites like ~ "Fly me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Audrey Hepburn's Moon River is currenlty in LAST place. I'm anxious to read this new book about UFO's by Leslie Kean. She was going to write a book dispealing the "myths" of UFO's. However, after 10 years of extensive research and numerous interviews with pilots ~ she's convinced that we're not alone.

"Throughout the Book, she presents irrefutable evidence that unknown flying objects—metallic, luminous, and seemingly able to maneuver in ways that defy the laws of physics—actually exist."

On a personal note ~ Baby Bunny (who's almost 14) lost both of her Basketball Games last week. She has two games this week and hopefully ~ her team will win at least one of them. And ~ Beach Bunny is sick again with a lingering cough. I just hope she can go to school in the morning. She has so many difficult classes including Physics ~ don't want her to miss any of the "notes" from that class. Maybe she'd enjoy reading the UFO book and it might even help her with her Physics class.

Basketball, Golf and Ice Skating ~

Basketball Season starts next week for Baby Bunny's Middle School Team. She's so excited and can't wait to start playing again. Her Team has been practicing every day for several weeks and hopefully they'll win a few games this year. Baby Bunny (who's almost 14) is pictured above ~ she's the girl on the left (wearing red) jumping for the ball. This is a picture from last year ~ but I love this image ~ even though they lost that particular game. Mr Bunny says ~ "She's very Coachable and she's Tall" ......"You can't teach Tall".........

Since she has Basketball Practice or a Game every night during the week ~ she has to take her Golf Lesson on Saturday. We LOVE the Golf "Pro" that she's taking lessons from ~ just so glad that she loves him too. He has really improved her game and next Year ~ she'll try out for the JV Golf Team. She had to make a choice this Year ~ since the Middle School Basketball and Golf Seasons were at the same time. I think she'll enjoy it even more ~ once the weather cools down just a tad. I know I'll enjoy it a lot more if it's under 90 degrees.

Tonight she wanted to go Ice Skating with her friends. Since she really doesn't know how to Ice Skate ~ thought it might not be the best time to risk breaking a bone. I asked her ~ Did she really wanted to spend the Basketball Season sitting on the Bench watching everyone else play? We spent a nice quiet evening at home.

I LOVE this Bunny Princess!!! It's the Wall Art that I purchased for my Bedroom redecorating Project. It is quite large and coordinates perfectly with the other Bunny Princess/Frog Prince items in the Room. I also puchased a Bunny Lamp from them (Whimsical Collections on Etsy) ~ but need to take pictures of it. I couldn't be more thrilled with this Bunny Princess, the Frog Prince or the adorable Bunny Lamp. I'm working my Bunny Tail off ~ trying to get the Home Page of my website updated. I also have about 80 products to photograph and load on my Bunny Chic Boutique website. The image above was made by Tiffany Jane and I just LOVE the way it turned out. Le Lapin in Paris is going to be one of the Categories on my "redecorated" website. I still have several Categories to list on the home page ~ but I'm almost done redesigning it. For the Home Page, I decided to go with just pictures ~ instead of text. Every picture (hopefully) will describe each Category and then you can just click on the picture/graphic and it will take you to that specific Category.

This is the actual image that Tiffany made for me and I added the text and frame around it. It makes me smile and is one of my favorite images on the BCB home page. Bedroom Re-Decorating ~

The Re-decoration of my Bedroom is almost complete. I'm waiting for a few more items that are on back order and I also need to finish making the Curtains. Then ~ I can post a few pictures of everything.

The Fabric Panel (featured above) is one of the main focal points of the Room. The color scheme is pink and green ~ even though the picture above looks a little more purple. This Panel is from the "Castles and Carriages" Collection from South Sea Imports. I was so thrilled when I saw this PERFECT panel ~ featuring a Bunny Princess. Do you know how difficult it is to find fabric with a Bunny Princess on it? I bought several (5) ~ so if you're looking for one ~ just email me.

I cut the panel apart and framed the center panel in a standard "stock" Poster Frame from Target. It fit perfectly in the 18" x 24" frame which was only about $15.00. Then I embellished the "glass" with fabric rosebuds.

I love the words on the large center panel ~ it says:

"I dream of Castles, Magical Horses, Crowns and Carriages, a Handsome Prince and Living Happily Ever After".

Next ~ I cut out each of the smaller fabric panels (bunny, frog, castle and horse) and mounted them each on foam poster board. I just cut the foam poster board into four pieces ~ the size of the panels (approx. 13 x 13) then used spray adhesive to mount them. Since our walls are thick dense bead board ~ it's really difficult to "drive a nail". So, I decided rather than framing the smaller panels in a traditional (heavy) frame ~ I'd mount the four panels on something light so that I can hang them with "poster tape".

DeGrazia Figurine ~ Beautiful Burden

There are 3 Dressers, a Vanity, 2 large nightstands and a bookcase in the Bedroom. So, there are a lot of flat places for collectables. One of the Dressers (the highest one) is home to my DeGrazia figurine collection. I might move the collection to another room ~ but I like the fact that they're up high. They don't really fit in with the pink and green bunny theme of the room ~ but they look okay all together in the corner. I know ~ I'm extremely Eclectic............

Baby Bunny has decided that she doesn't like pink ~ can you imagine? So ~ even though this shirt still fits her ~ I'm selling it on Ebay. I found a cute Auction Template in my files that I bought about 3 years ago. I've just spent 2 hours editing and listing this Shirt on Ebay with a low starting price of $2.99. I love the way the listing turned out ~ but wish I hadn't spent so much time working on it.

The Brand name is "Old Skool" and the shirt features a Crown with Wings and rhinestone type embellishments. The size is Juniors Large or Ladies ~ Small and the fabric is 100% Cotton. Border Fine Arts ~ Beatrix Potter Tableau

This is such an adorable Tableau featuring Peter Rabbit and Friends. It's handmade and hand painted ~ the Artist is Richard Wawrzestaand and it is made by Border Fine Arts in Scotland. The Tableau is entitled ~ Tale of Ginger and Pickles from the Beatrix Potter Story of the same name. It's a Limited Edition and it is Number 195 out of 2000. The weight is substantial and the measurements are approx. ~ 9"(w) x 6"(d) x 7" (h).

The Black and White Comforter that we purchased from Ebay wasn't soft or comfy ~ so I won't be providing a link for that set. However, I found this Black and White Damask Comforter online at Walmart.com and Beach Bunny LOVES it. I loved the price ($54.98) and it's even reversible ~ as shown in the "stock" picture above. Gingham, Stripes and Polka Dots ~ Oh my!!

I've been working for weeks on redecorating and cleaning 4 Bedrooms. I'd like to get at least one of them done before Summer is over. I didn't take "Before" Pictures because it was just too embarrassing ~ but we'll take some "after" pictures next week.

Baby Bunny (who's 13 now) wanted Purple, Turquoise and Green in her room. We were having a difficult time finding a Comforter and I was trying to talk her into pink and green. I already had tons of stuff that we could use ~ but sadly she doesn't like pink.

Finally ~ we were walking up and down the aisles at Target and she saw a Comforter she loved. However, it only came in Twin size and she has a King bed. So, we bought two Comforters and I'm going to sew them together into a King sized Comforter. The Comforter is striped and has Turquoise, Lavender, Purple and bright Green color combo. The Purple stripe is also polka dotted. It was a really great deal ~ since it was a "bed in a bag" with Pillow Shams, Sheets and Pillowcases. We used the twin purple polka dotted sheets on her two twin sized Bed Springs and then the Pillow Shams are actually square ~ so we used one of them on her night stand.

Then ~ I found the Polka Dotted Curtains (pictured above) at Pottery Barn Teen and we're going to use a different color polka dot (except pink) for each of her windows. We also ordered the multi polka dot curtains ~ which are really cute. In fact ~ we might just use the multi polka dot curtains on all of her windows.

We also got some of these adorable canvas Storage Boxes for her Room from Pottery Barn Teen. I LOVE that they have a lid for them ~ so that you can hid the clutter. Aren't they cute? She can hid lots of things in them and hopefully keep her room clean. She just needs a home for everything and then her room will be spotless ~ right???

Baby Bunny also needed a nice lamp ~ so we bought the one (featured above) with the Turquoise shade. It's also from Pottery Barn Teen. I just hope that it's bright enough.

I also purchased some lavender gingham items from Pottery Barn Kids ~ which were on sale. I actually used Window Valances for her Dresser Scarf and Vanity Scarf ~ they fit perfectly.

Then for Beach Bunny's Room ~ she wanted Black and White. The nice thing about the colors Black and White ~ it's so much easier to find things that match. We mixed and matched Swirls, Damask and Zebra. This is her Comforter (pictured above) and I purchased it on Ebay.

This is her Shower Curtain and we purchased a few items that have zebra print on them. I was so thrilled that she actually liked the HUGE Audrey Hepburn (black and white) Canvas that I purchased for her Room. Then she had fun decorating her other (white) Bedroom Wall with peel and stick wall stickers which are black swirls and crowns.

Then ~ of course ~ we wanted to get an Organizer Basket from Sew Gracious. It's going to look so Gorgeous in Beach Bunny's Bathroom. I found a few other items at TJ Maxx and a couple of things that I had in storage. She LOVES her new room and it looks very dramatic ~ but extremely Elegant.

I'm also working on the Guest Room/Art Studio/Sewing Room. The walls are dark Mahogany wood and since I wouldn't dream of painting them ~ I'm going to "work with them". I've decided to decorate this multi-use room with several different types of Brown and Blue Paisley Fabrics. We've been using it for a Storage Room ~ but it's time to declutter and reorganize it.

And so ~ I'm putting all of the pink/green decor in my room. I also moved a few more bunnies in there ~ since No Bunny wanted them in their room. It's quickly becoming very eclectic in there. I might have to re-think the design for my room. At least I won't have to spend any Money to redecorate it.

Crazy busy working on re-decorating and re-organizing each and every room in my House. I'm working on Baby Bunny's Room today and can't wait to share pics with you. She's out of town until Friday ~ so I'm hoping to be done and surprise her when she returns. I've removed all Bunnies ~ Peter Rabbit, etc. from her room and moved a few girly things in there for her. I'm redesigning/redecorating without sending a dime ~ so we'll see what you think about my latest design challenge.

AND ~ the UPS man (love him) just delivered my new Toile Fabric. It's going to look so Gorgeous in my Blue and Yellow Kitchen. The Fabric is made by P. Kaufmann and has a faint stripe in the background. I'm going to make curtains for the French Doors in my Kitchen. "Hoppy" Eliza Doolittle Day to you and yours!! Can you believe that it's already been a year since we celebrated Eliza Doolittle Day??? How did you spend the day?? Watching My Fair Lady or maybe you listened to the Soundtrack with all of those Fabulous Songs??? Which is your favorite song? I LOVE them all ~ but particularly enjoy "Why can't a Man be more like a Woman?" and of course "Why can't the English learn to speak?" Oh how I LOVE the "My Fair Lady" Movie and Songs!!

I have to mention my favorite quote by Audrey Hepburn ~

In other news ~ I just finished 4 large orders for my Shabby Chic Altered Art Clipboards. I made a few extra ~ so that I can list some on my website. I can't decide on a Camera (that's in my budget) ~ so I'm just going to ask Beach Bunny and Baby Bunny to photograph items for me with their Cameras.

AND ~ I have a design in mind for a Zebra/Leopard themed Altered Art Clipboard. I also just found lots of Paris themed papers ~ so I know Some Bunny would LOVE a Paris Chic Clipboard. Let me know if you have a theme you would like and I probably have the papers/embellishments to make it.

I've decided to sell most of my Handbags that I have in my collection. I've already sold (through my Blog) one of my Brahmin Handbags and I have several more that I'm going to sell. I won't devulge exactly how many Purses and Handbags that I have ~but I don't have room for all of them. I'll be selling several more Brahmin, Ralph Lauren, Dooney, Lulu Guinness, Lilly Pulitzer and Vera Bradley ~ to name a few.

I'm also going to sell the Gorgeous Leather Backpack that Robert Redford sent me. Actually ~ I bought it from his Catalog ~ Sundance, but I like to refer to at as a "gift" from Robert Redford. He also sent me several Bracelets ~ but I'm going to keep ALL of the Jewelry that RR sent me. I've never used the Backpack ~ so might as well sell it. I'm going to take pictures and then feature my Handbags here on my Blog before I list them on Ebay.

Tomorrow is the last day of School for Beach Bunny and Baby Bunny ~ this School Year has gone by so fast. We are all looking forward to Summer Vacation and plan to enjoy every second of it.

My Beach Bunny and Tyler at Merrit Island Christian School's Prom. They are just friends, but don't they make a "striking" couple. I talked Beach Bunny into going to her Prom and then she talked Tyler into going. He's recently lost both of his parents ~ his Mother just passed away last month from Cancer. I know that 20 years from now ~ they'll both be glad that they went to their Prom.

Miss my Camera ~

I miss my Camera ~ no that's not true ~ I miss having a Camera. I didn't like the camera I had and I'm not upset that I dropped it and it's broken. I've looked at tons of different Cameras ~ but can't decide which one to purchase. I'm trying to wait until Mother's Day ~ but there are so many bunnies waiting to be photographed. I need one that is easy to use, inexpensive and takes great pictures.

Things have been crazy and I've been so busy with lots of different projects. I spent several days last week planting flowers ~ 86 impatiens to be exact. They look so pretty in the yard ~ they really make me smile when I see them.

We have a Mother Cat and three baby kittens that have moved in ~ underneath our House. She's quite skiddish ~ but I'll see if I can get a picture of her using Beach Bunny's Camera. Yesterday ~ I broke my rule about feeding stray Cats and decided she was the exception. I'm surprised that she picked our House ~ especially since Zoe (our little Yorkie) barks at her constantly. I haven't seen the Kittens yet ~ but our neighbor saw her carry them toward our House.

I've also been working on my tan and exercising daily. I was trying to remember what used to make me happy when I was younger. So, I decided that I'd be happier if I was thinner and tanner. I know it sounds shallow ~ but it's two things I can actually control. This past week I made time to tan and do some walking. I feel so much better ~ better than I have in Years.

How To NEVER Look Fat Again!!

I absolutely LOVE this new Book by Charla Krupp ~ it has tons of tips for dressing "Thin". Some of the tips are just common sense ~ don't wear white pants, large florals or horizontal stripes. However, it's an easy read with lots of pictures and Charla makes you feel that it's normal to have a few extra pounds. Then ~ she tells you tips and tricks to look 10 pounds lighter instantly. Now ~ I'm ready to go through all of my clothes and donate or sell the ones that are "high fat".

Of course ~ after decades of fashion disasters, I now have a better idea of what style looks the best on me. However, on Easter Eve ~ it was a challenge to find an outfit that was slimming and yet looked like Spring. I didn't want to wear black to Church on Easter ~ but didn't want to look 6 months pregnant either. I wanted to wear my sleeveless Fuschia Dress ~ but the color didn't flatter and honestly, it was just too tight. I decided to wear blue/white seersucker pants, white ruffle sleeveless blouse with a navy cropped jacket. No Bunny was looking at me anyway ~ they were too busy looking at my little Bunnies ~ Beach Bunny and Baby Bunny. Beach Bunny was wearing a lovely purple dress and Baby Bunny was wearing a bright Turquoise Sheath. Hopefully ~ the pictures turned out ~ so you can see our Easter outfits.

Spring Break ~

I can't believe that Spring Break is here already and that it's only 1 week until Easter. We're going to the Beach for a few days ~ if the weather warms up and it doesn't rain. Tomorrow we're planting tons and tons of flowers and also finishing up with the Sod.

Then ~ Tuesday we'll go shopping for Beach Bunny's Prom Dress and Easter outfit. Baby Bunny wants to go to the Movies with some of her friends during Spring Break. We're also going to have Dinner at The Melting Pot one night. AND ~ we'll also spend one day at the local zoo.

Baby Bunny had her Confirmation today and everything was absolutely perfect. The Church Service was so lovely and the Luncheon was delicious. I just realized this morning that Baby Bunny and Beach Bunny are the FIFTH generation of our Family to join our Church.

We gave Baby Bunny a Necklace with an engraved Heart and Cross Pendant (pictured above). I puchased it from Fairy Tale Jewels and they have several Gorgeous designs available for Confirmation, First Communion, Baptism, etc. The Heart Pendant has Baby Bunny's initial's on the front and the following poignant Bible Verse on the back of the Pendant ~

I took lots of pictures ~ but dropped my Camera on the way home. No ~ I'm not upset ~ I didn't like my Camera anyway. The pictures never turned out and I've needed to buy a new one. I'll just borrow Beach Bunny's Camera until Mother's Day AND ~ start the difficult process of selecting a "point and shoot" that's not too expensive.

What do you think? Do you like the newest designs by Brahmin? I don't mind carrying a mock Croc handbag ~ in fact I LOVE all of my Brahmin Crocodile Handbags that I've collected over the years. However, for some reason ~ I really don't want to carry a faux Anaconda wrapped around my wrist or body. Don't like the Snake ~ but LOVE the Hat (pictured above).

Baby Bunny is keeping me Hopping!!

Baby Bunny ~ Age 3

Baby Bunny (who's 13 now) is really keeping me hopping!! She has been attending 3 different Church Youth Groups and is also taking Confirmation Classes at my Church. Last Sunday she was the Lay Leader at our Church and did a Fabulous job. She obviously takes after her Father because you couldn't pay me to speak in front of a group of people.

So ~ between Confirmation, Easter and being Lay Leader ~ she needed a couple of nice dresses. We spent Friday night at the Mall trying on (what seemed like) every dress. Of course ~ since she's 13 ~ we couldn't agree on anything. We took a break ~ had Dinner and then FINALLY found two dresses that she liked. One of them is a Turquoise sleeveless sheath by Calvin Klein and the other one is a Purple Dress by Adrienne Papelle. There are some really ugly dresses out there ~ we just didn't agree on which ones were ugly. We even found some cute shoes that match her new Turquoise dress.

Now ~ next weekend, I've got to take Beach Bunny shopping for a Prom Dress and an Easter outfit. Hopefully ~ we can find something that we both agree on. She's tall and thin ~ so everything looks great on her. However, she likes the trendy styles and I prefer the classic styles. Wish me luck.......

Baby Bunny (who's 13 now) is also selling her Legos Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle ~ Number 4709. We're going to put it on Ebay this week or next. She worked this past weekend putting it together ~ so that we can take pictures of it and also make sure that all of the pieces were there.

This Bunny Loves to Read ~

I've been busy reading several different books (featured below) and although they're quite different ~ I LOVE all three books.

This Lilly Pulitzer Book (pictured above) has so many Gorgeous pictures, tasty recipes and actually useful entertaining tips. It's a really Fabulous Book and I really enjoyed each and every page. I guess that Lilly Pulitzer will always remain vibrant and youthful ~ even though she's now approaching her 80's. Doesn't she seem much younger than that??

This is also a great little book entitled: Everyday Happy ~ 365 Ways to a Better You by Jenny Hare (seriously her last name is Hare ~ like a Bunny). It's a book to assist you in finding your inner happiness and it has things to do each day to achieve happiness.

"If life is getting you down, try a daily dose of happiness! This pocketbook personal trainer is packed with healthy snacks and herbal remedies to get you feeling great, energy boosting exercises you can do at your desk and motivational meditations for a more positive outlook."

I just finished reading Jenny Sanford's Book ~ Staying True. I found this Book so intriguing and read it in just one night ~ one rather late night. Jenny Sanford is incredibly strong with an unwaivering faith and is the epitome of grace and elegance. At one point ~ she said:

"I have tried my best to act responsibly, patiently, and fairly and will freely welcome the next chapter with no regrets from the past and no fears for the future. I will persevere with my feet firmly planted - preferably with some sand between my toes- focused on my priorities and looking onward and ever upward."

I think she said that so eloquently.

More Bunnies ~

There are only 24 days until Easter and maybe we'll have a "cool" Easter and can actually wear Sweaters. This weekend ~ we're going shopping for our Easter outfits. In the meantime ~ today I worked on displaying some of our Bunnies throughout the House.

Tomorrow ~ if the weather is nice ~ we're going to plant lots of flowers around the Oak Trees in the front yard. Our house was selected and will be featured in a forthcoming "Coffee Table" Book ~ so I want the yard to look nice. Hope I haven't missed the deadline to return the release form and submit a brief history (without the Ghost Stories) of our house. Guess I'd better quit procrastinating and get those documents in the mail.

As you know already ~ I teach the 2-3 year old Sunday School class at Church and today the lesson is "Jesus and the Children". It's one of my favorite stories and I found a flannel board set to use ~ as well as a cute art project to make. I also just puchased the "Wee Sing Bible Songs" CD ~ which has so many Fabulous songs on it. It's on sale right now at Books A Million for only $1.77 ~ just hop right here to purchase it. I saw this quote the other day and found it enlightening. I guess it means to be grateful and Count Your Blessings. So ~ today I'll be counting my many Blessings. Now ~ if I can just find something to wear to Church today ~ I'll be grateful for that...

Valentino Shoes ~

I LOVE these Valentino Shoes!!! Don't know how much they cost ~ but I love them. Just had to share....... I'll be back later ~ lots to post today. AND ~ just checked the price and these Gorgeous Shoes are $4,700.00 ~ so I'll just enjoy looking at the picture of them and continue wearing my old flip flops. So much for trying to add a little class to my wardrobe.

Jimmy Buffett and Take the Weather with You

Exciting news ~ Mr. Bunny met Jimmy Buffett this week. How cool is that??? I'll post all the pictures later. I actually met him YEARS ago ~ okay DECADES ago ~ ions before he became an Icon ~ but for some reason he doesn't remember me.

My Sister has been here for a week and when she left today ~ I told her "Take the Weather with you". She lives in Atlanta and she couldn't believe how cold it's been here in Florida. This morning it was 35 degrees and now at 1:00 pm it's 57 degrees ~ which is still too cold for Florida ~ especially since it's March.

Jimmy Buffett has recorded over 350 songs ~ think I'll go and listen to a few of his songs. AND ~ maybe it'll inspire "Mother Nature" to warm things up ~ cause Every Bunny LOVES Jimmy Buffett ~ especially Mother Nature.

Ready for Spring ~ yet??!!? I just purchased these pretty Butterfly shaped fabric flowers from Tracy B. Designs over on Etsy. I thought they might encourage Spring to hurry and arrive. I'm so tired of the cold weather and can't wait for the temps to get above 70 degrees.

Did you hear the news? This Johnny Cash song was the ten billionth song downloaded on itunes yesterday. Congrats to the 71 year old genglemen in GA that won a $10,000.00 itunes gift card.
