Bunny Fairy Tea Party

I overheard several bunnies talking about a Fabulous Tea Party that the Bunny Fairies were hosting. If you give these particular bunnies lots of carrots ~ their lips become quite loose.

I decided that I simply must attend this Soiree ~ I knew that the Bunny Fairies wouldn't mind. So, I grabbed my Camera, a Market Bag full of lettuce and my favorite Bonnet ~ then set off on my latest adventure.

Well, there were a quite a few bunnies guarding the Gate to the Bunny Fairy Tea Party. I gave them lots and lots of lettuce and they quickly became soporific ~ just like in the Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies. Then, I quietly slipped by them while they slept.........

The sign on the Gate says "Welcome" ~ so I was convinced that they wouldn't mind me visiting......

As always ~ I took the wrong turn on the Path and got lost. Fortunately ~ a kind Rabbit gave me directions.

Look ~ it's the Host and Hostess of the Bunny Fairy Tea Party ~ Elizabeth and Parkhurst. They weren't too concerned that I had crashed their Party and enjoyed posing for this picture.

They had the most adorable little dishes on all the tables. These tiny little containers were made out of pink flower petals, woodland fern and lots of glitter. I wonder what kind of treats that they're serving in these pretty little bowls .......

Why ~ of course ~ these cute little "dishes" are full of carrots, lettuce, corn and even some radishes. What else would Bunny Fairies serve at an elegant Tea Party?

This Serving Dish has a Diamond hidden at the bottom of it. Parkhurst is going to ask Elizabeth to marry him and so he's hidden a huge diamond under the lettuce.

Did she say ~ Yes?

Wow ~ look at the size of that Diamond and she said..... Yes!! They're going to have this priceless Diamond set in an engagement ring for Elizabeth.

She was so happy and started crying tears of joy ~ can you see them?

Parkhurst is thrilled and also has a tiny tear in the corner of his eye ~ can you see it?
Well, it's official ~ Elizabeth and Parkhurst are Engaged!!

Elizabeth couldn't wait to share the news with her best friend ~ Bella. Bella is a famous Bunny Fairy Ballerina.

Elizabeth and Bella spent the rest of the Party making plans for the Wedding. Of course, Bella is going to be Elizabeth's Maid of Honor.

Another group of bunnies dancing and enjoying this elaborate Tea Party.

I think that they're doing the Foxtrot or some other Ballroom Dance.

Don't Annabelle and Alex look like they're having a Fabulous time?

Look ~ it's Isabelle and Raleigh ~ the Victorian Rabbits!!

The Ivory-billed Woodpecker was even at the Bunny Fairy Tea Party ~ can you believe it? I was so excited to see it ~ especially since it's believed to be extinct.

Hans and Gretchen had just flown in from Austria ~ but were too tired to dance.

Still lots of food left ~ but the flower petals are starting to wilt.

There was quite a bit of excitment when a little black kitten appeared from behind a tree. The Bunny Fairies and all the other Guests were screaming and running for cover. Courtney the "human" fairy sang a lullaby to the Kitty and then it finally wandered off.

This was the scene when I left at midnight and I can still faintly hear the music off in the distance. I won't be surprised if the Bunny Fairy Tea Party lasts until Dawn. You can see the Ivory-billed Woodpecker sitting on the tree trunk (upper right).

Thanks for visiting ~ be sure that you hop over to Vanessa's Mad Tea Party ~ it's tons of Fun!!
