This is Part 3 in my Series entitled: Every Bunny has a "Tale"

I would like to introduce Isabella and Raleigh who are two of my Victorian Rabbits. They are "working" bunnies ~ not only do they look lovely on display ~ they are actually Candlestick Holders. We use them throughout the Year, since as you know ~ "Bunnies aren't just for Easter anymore". Yes ~ you can quote me.

Can you tell that Raleigh is missing one of his Ears? It was a horrific accident involving our Cat ~ Whiskers. I'm not sure exactly what happened since I didn't actually witness the incident. All I know is that when I entered the Room ~ Whiskers had Raleigh "pinned" on our Dining Room Table. I don't know if Raleigh was teasing Whiskers or if they were fighting over Isabella. All I know is that our Heath Insurance does not cover Cosmetic (Reconstructive) Surgery ~ especially on Bunnies. So, I've kept his Ear on ice and plan to reattach it myself with some Super Glue. Fortunately ~ it was a "clean break" so I hope there won't be a scar. Wish me Luck with the minor "Surgery"!!
They are cute, and I love the way you have them displayed with the flowers and vase and doily.
ReplyDeletePoor Raleigh! That is so sad. Well, he does not look worse for the wear! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing more bunnies!

Naughty Whiskers! He needs a time out for hurting poor Raleigh! We have a cat (Pepper) and I wouldn't trade her for anything :-)
